About best shoes to reduce back and heel pain ?

Hi,

I have been struggling with back and severe heel pain for a long time now, especially when I am standing or walking for long period of time. I am only 17 years old and it is really beginning to interfere with my everyday life.

I am wondering about what sorts of shoes would be best for me to buy.

I have been looking at several articles online and seem to have come to the conclusion that a small wedge heel is best? However I am not too sure.
Would a small block or wedge heel be better for support?
I will be wearing these shoes to work and school so unfortunately trainers won't be suitbale.

DocPod 		There is no best shoe. What works for one person will not work for another. It all depends on your foot structure and the exact cause of your problem. "Heel pain" is pretty vague.
