Is there anything to be done about this, other than taking pills?
I've been diagnosed with (from the Dr's results) "some degenerative changes in the joint between the navicular and cuneiform, with bulky dorsal osteophytic lipping and some overlying soft tissue swelling dorsally. A prominent calcaneal spur also noted. Spur also noted from posterior surface of the calcaneum in the region of the achilles tendon." ..He didn't mention anything to do about it though, just to take some anti-inflammatory pills. Is that all there is to it? The spurs mentioned aren't causing pain and weren't known about before the x-ray, but the swelling over, and the soreness of the joint between the navicular and cuneiform is pretty bad, some days I can barely walk. Thanks in advance.
