Lateral foot pain ?

Good evening , wondering if I should see a podiatrist or just rest my foot... However, after a 4 mile run fri I had faint pain on the lateral side of my left foot... Sat I ran another 4 miles ignoring the pain and pushing through it thinking it was just achey.. sundAy morning a reddish bruise appeared on the same lateral side and I am unable to put any weight on that foot without it hurting ... I can walk on my tippy toe but putting it flat on the ground with any weight causes pain ...

DocPod 		Not sure what it is. What you are describing is not typical of any specific problem, so its hard to advise without knowing more and seeing it. Perhaps give it a day r two and then get it checked out.
