Use Dr. Scholls corn Pads ?

Hi,

I used Dr. Scholls corn pads and now the top of my toes continue to a layer (where the corn pads were) of dead skin. Ive tried to cut the dead skin off but it leaves a red spot and ive tried to moisturize everyday and night. after i cut off the skin over time another layer of dead skin would grow and i would have to cut the skin again. What can i do to fix this! desperate, CANT wear sandals, flip flops or even walk barefoot.

HELP!

DocPod 		"Corn pads" contain an acid that just 'eat' whatever you put it on. They are not specific for corns, so 'eat' the corn and the normal skin as well. Corn pads do not get rid of the cause of corns, just get away some skin.

It sounds as though you had quite a reaction to the acid ... generally it probably just needs time to heal from that trauma.
