Why is my toenail cracked in the bottom?

Went to a Podiatrist a year ago, he found slight toe fungus in the upper right corner of my bigtoe + ingrown in my left side of my big toe.

He only suggested on getting anti fungal solution & he trimmed the ingrown. Eventually I put the antifungal on for 11 months daily and its been great, fungal seems to diminished and I stopped last month because I noticed my bottom of my nail of the bigtoe was drying up (like on my big toes nailbed, where lunula is supposed to be all around the bottom).. I thought it was just reaction from the solution but its been almost 2 months and it looks so bad...is it a fungal infection? or is it something minimal?

It looks ok to me. It just appears to be a bit 'dry'.

Thank you very much for your time and input. I actually think dryness is the problem because wore socks instead of being barefoot and it appeared no longer dry.

Thank you very much DocPod! I will look for something to keep it moisturized :)
