Lines on nails ?

What are these lines on my nails, I've heard that they can indicate heart problems, vitamin deficiency, I have them on multiple nails but there are most prominent on this one finger. They never go away, they look like blood vessels beneath the nail. They are more visible when it's darker, so slightly less visible on the picture.

DocPod 		They are probably nothing to be concerned about; they just look like an anomaly in the growing area of the nail of no clinical significance.
