Growing Pains ?

My daughter has been diagnosed with growing pains in her leg that wake her up at night. Our doctor has said she will grow out of it and there is nothing that can be done. Is that correct?

CraigBPayne 		Please get it checked out carefully. There are some very rare but very serious problems than can mimic growing pains.

DocPod 		There are some things that can be done:
- reassurance of the child
- gentle massage
- stretching
- sometime anti-inflammatory drugs can help
