I am forever having problems with the dry skin around my heel splitting or cracking. No sooner do I get it under some sort of control, then it happens all over again. Sometimes it is bleeding.

1. you have to keep the hard skin down
2. you have to keep the skin supple with emollients
3. see a podiatrist

Above all, use a cracked heel cream at least daily
