I suppose that they are ok.
They would perhaps be good for the thick dry callused skin around the heels that can crack.
I don't think they would be very good if your skin was fragile or you had issues with healing from things like diabetes.
It would be easy to go to far and get a 'burn' from them.
I would also suggest that you do not share them with anyone else in the family for hygiene reasons.
