Never heard of it! I had to Google it. We call it Haglund's deformity or condition or a retrocalcaneal bursitis. It appears that this name bauer's bump is commonly used in ice hockey circles:
https://podiatryfaq.com/knowledge-base/what-is-bauer-bump/
https://podiapaedia.org/wiki/sports-medicine/individual-sports/ice-skating/ice-skating-boots/bauer-bump/
Bauer being the most commonly used brand of ice hockey skate - this type of footwear is fairly rigid, so is going to be a problem for any part of the foot that has a prominent piece of bone - in this case Haglund's lump at the back of the heel.
Without surgery all you can do is get a boot maker or fitter to see if any of the inner of the skate can be modified to get pressure of the bump. Donut shaped pads over the area can be used to protect it.
Apart from that there really are not many other options.
