I have just been told that my heel pain is not plantar fasciitis. The doc was not sure what it was and has sent me for an MRI. I am curious as to what it could be. Any ideas?

As much as I would like to help, there are literally 100's of different things that it could be. Plantar fasciitis is probably the most common. It could be any one of a number of bone, muscle, nerve or ligament problems. Without the benefits of an examination and imaging anything I say would be a guess.
