If you have an arched foot and your other foot is flat, does that interfere with your balance and the way you walk? Does it matter you have to different feet?

I had surgery done and my pediatrist put a arch in my right foot because my foot was really bad. I was wondering if I would have to get the other foot done.

Depends on a lot of factors, especially how active you are. If you are a 'couch potato', then its probably not going to be a problem. If you are active, then it could become a problem.

The issue is one of symmetry. Think about the need for balance between car wheels as an analogy. If there is an imbalance, there is abnormal 'wear and tear'
