I had a pedicure 2 days ago. This morning the skin surrounding the left big toe is reddened and it's a little painful to put pressure on it. I poked around the nail and do not see or feel any pus. Is this something that neosporin will help resolve? I'm already on cipro for a UTI but not sure it would also be effective for this type of infection. At least I think it's an infection. Not sure what else it could be.

It sure sounds like an infection. Yes, neosporin should help.
If that does not help get to a podiatrists or doctor in a few days to get some antibiotics.
