a while back something heavey droped on my toe, now it is yellow, bumpie and brittle. i tried tea tree oil it it seemed to help some what. i ve been looking into the laser treaatment but, i found out it was $800.00 dollars and ins. companys don"t cover ?

Laser treatment is a hot issue at the moment. It is expensive and not covered by insurance. It has not been approved by the FDA for this (it has been approved for other things). Those using it swear by it, but there is only a couple of poorly done research studies that have looked at it. We need to wait for better research before jump into this one.
