I have been trying to use the pose running method and keep getting these problems with pain in my feet. I have asked on running forums and all I get is that I must be doing it wrong. Are there any Podiatrists familiar with Pose running?

Firstly, I am not a big fan of Pose running link. This is mainly because of the claims that get made for it and that its promoted as "one size fits all". I am seeing more and more injuries in runners who are trying the latest fad in running and Pose running is just one of them. Despite the claims being made, Pose runners do not get less injuries. Some runners do better with the Pose technique and some runners do not. Each different running technique puts pressure on different structures. It all depends on what exactly your ongoing injury is as to what you need to change to. Do not stick with Pose running link because of the hyperbole you read somewhere. One thing I have noticed about reading online about the Pose technique is how sensitive to criticism of pose those that promote it are. Its is just another of many different ways of running. It is not the magic bullet.

I can't give specific advice as its not clear exactly what your injury is or where you live to advise who to see. I suggest you find a doctor who is a runner and knows about foot biomechanics and Pose running link and does not promote, one size fits all.
