can gout show in the knees?

Absolutely! Usually the big toe is affected worst. But, my mom had a severe case of gout in her knee and it was debilitating.

Yes gout can also seen in knees. also called as Gonadra. the most common occur in big toes aka podagra. It also shows to your wrist aka chiragra. Hope my ideas benefited you.

Any lower extremity joint can get gout: knees, hip, ankle, toe. Some folks may report it in there elbows too.
