HI.. I've been dealing with intense lower foot and leg pain since 2009, I believe due to a very bad tennis strain. It's always been bilateral, so nerve involvement has been postulated. I've had all sorts of testing and interventions, with no avail. My symptoms best match plantar fasciitis or possible compartment syndrome. I'm going to another compartment syndrome specialist soon.
I also have chronic tick borne infections, and possibly bartonella is causing some of my issues. I done long term antibiotics and herbals with NO improvement.
My question.. I have hard little nodules (multiple) in my heel pad itself. Doctors have observed this and even felt them, but no one can tell me what they are.. Do you have any ideas. Is there a particular scan that would figure out what they are...
I've had an ultrasound about 5 years ago and it should slight thickening of my fasicia, but not enough to support plantar fasciitis
thank
Sorry, next to impossible to know what is going on with seeing it and with proper imaging.
Best guess for the lumps would be something like plantar fibromatosis
