I had bilateral plantar fasciotomy, heel spur removal, and tarsal tunnel release. A week after surgery, doctor wanted me using crutches, which, with both feet operated on, has been impossible to do without weight bearing. Now at two weeks, I can only last about 12-15 steps on crutches. Are there concerns or risks to such partial weight bearing at one and now two weeks post op? She seems to think I should only be on crutches now, but the partial weight bearing so soon has me a little concerned. It definitely hurts. I just worry about whether this can possibly delay heali g or add to complications, but also don't want to be a pain wimp.

At 3 weeks increasing the amount of weightbearing progressively and gradually is very important to proper healing and rehabilitation. I would not see any problems with it as long as it is careful and you progressively do more.
