What are the negatives (if any) of Steroid injections for Plantar Fasciitis. Could they make it worse. ?

They generally help with the pain and inflammation which is not a lot of good if there is mostly degeneration and not much inflammation.
Worst case is that you can get a rupture of the plantar fascia, but that is not very common.
Still important to stretch and offload rather than just rely on an injection on its own.
