Can I be billed for the nail care and trimming for my diabetic father if the podiatrist has his medical assistant perform the cutting and smoothing

Tricky one. In some circumstances yes and some circumstances no. Depends on the context. Sorry about the vague answer. You need to check with your provider and payer as they will have different policies in different regions.
