Hello I'm hoping you might have some time to assist me with a question.
13 months ago I had a plantar fasciotomy. I just recently had an MRI and it now shows that my plantar fascia is over 11 mm thick. Prior to surgery it was 9.2. the surgeon stated that he released the medial band but yet somehow from the information provided by the current MRI my third opinion believes that it was never cut or that it grew back. Is it possible for it to grow back is my question here?? Thank you so much

Yes;
Non-surgical ruptures heal, so there is no reason to assume that a surgically cut plantar fascia does not heal.
