He said my fracture doesn't look like it healed much, but I DID NOT need surgery. I am just asking to see what others would think?

I'm 30, male, lean body weight, no preexisting conditions or ailments. The following is the first time anything like this has happened to me.

Over a week ago at 8/1/2020, my right ankle "seized up" and I was in terrible sharp and gnawing pain for hours until I managed to fall asleep. I felt increasing tightness all around my ankle, especially under and around the medial malleolus and around the talus.

The next day the pain was gone, no swelling, and I was able to move my foot more or less any direction, however I was not able to walk with it. So I've been dragging my foot around for the past week.

I've been keeping it elevated and take one or two ibuprofen a day. Appears to be healing but I'm not entirely sure as sometimes I feel the tightness returning, upon which I get up and take a few steps and the area around my talus pops and I feel some relief. If I try to use my right foot to walk I feel some strain and heat at the back of my heel. Also rolling my ankle so that the bottom of foot points to my left foot seems to create some strain or pressure. When I stand I can see my veins and nerves are more enlarged than those on my left foot and leg but those don't seem to be run through the areas I mentioned.

The only potential cause of all this I can think of is I went on the elliptical for about 40 min in the morning which I've never done. I almost never do cardio, just lift weights, so I was trying to start a cardio routine that was low impact.
