Achillies / Heel Pain ?

For about 2 weeks now, my right achillies tendon has been in pain. I have seen my podiatrist. I have taken NSAIDS bid 400mg, wore padding and compressive wrapped and elastic ankle brace w/cast boot. I was casted for orthotics. I just received cortisone shot on my right center of my heel because I'm still in pain. Now, I'm feeling a little tingle and the bottom of my right heel still aches/throbbing. Now ever since the cortisone my left bottom heel aches and burns. Also, I'm pes planus, forefoot varus/supinatus bilateral. I also took Xrays, it show no signs of acute pathology on right achillies. What do you suggest and why I'm experiencing? Also, I have never had this before, I'm not diabetic, and no injuries. Thank you kindly

DocPod 		Hard to say what the heel pain is without an examination and imaging. It could be an unrelated problem, a related problem or could be a complication of the injection.
Probably the most important treatment is progressive loading and strengthening of the tendon. Usually this is a called 'eccentric loading' or Alfredson's prescription for achilles tendinitis --> Google that and you should find some good information.
