dropped a weight on my toe ?

I dropped a 10 pound weight on my big toe last night. The nail pulled away from the cuticle but did not completely fall off. there is blood all underneath the nail and it continues to bleed slightly. I put peroxide on it and bandaged it last night. It has been bandaged all day. The toe is not broken but I am not sure if I need to see a DR and if there is anything they can do. Do I keep it bandaged all the time or do I need to let it get air? I want to prevent infection!!

DocPod 		Keeping it covered is fine. There is a pretty good chance that you will loose the nail - if that looks like it is going to happen, then its probably a good idea to see someone.
