Full nail removal ?

Hi there, I had my left big toenail removed 4 weeks ago, Since the removal I have been in constent pain, it is still discharging, very red and swollen. I have been back to the podiatry clinic twice and they keep putting me on antibiotics. In my eyes the toe is getting worse and I'm worried it may turn into something more serious. Can anybody offer any information or have had similar symptoms after the surgery, and what was the time scale & medicine take. I know everybody is different but at present I can't see an end to the problem. Thanks Alan

DocPod 		The most common problem I see for pain in this situation is the wearing of shoes and the pressure from the shoes on the surgical site.
